Melanie Kasper

Melanie Kasper brings ten years of experience as a structural engineer and has worked on dozens of projects involving the structural analysis and stabilization of existing buildings, many of which are on the National Register of Historic Places. Ms. Kasper earned her Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Bucknell University and her Master's degree in Civil Engineering from Drexel University. As project engineer at S. Harris Ltd., Ms. Kasper is involved with projects from the very early investigative phase, continuing through the design process, and ensures final delivery through construction. She is experienced in the structural analysis of timber, steel, concrete, and masonry and evaluates the technical complexities of failure mechanisms. Ms. Kasper has been commended for her ability to turn around repair details, construction documents, and other project deliverables in an extraordinarily timely manner. She is known for her ability to quickly establish trust with clients, building relationships, and communicating effectively with building owners, architects, and contractors.
